Unnamed Top-Down type game.

As the 3nd Game Project, we are working on making a sort of Top-down Zelda Inspired Dungeon type of game.

The Second Game project Me and my friend worked on was originally going to be a “Point and Click” Game based on a Detective collecting clues within each level.

Though that game was working as intended. The game Itself wasn’t fun to play.

So we scrapped the game for now, and decided to work on the 3rd Game Project. Which is a Top-Down Adventure game!

Our Idea for now is to make the tileset within a top-down view so that you are able to see all of the walls whenever or not you are looking up, down, left or right with your playable character within the environment.

We want to try out some new things… One of which is to make some sort of “Height Map” for the tiles and for the light source within the level design. Having some sort of way to “aim” or “hold” a type of weapon longer to make the shot fly longer or higher up could make some puzzles more intresting for us to design.

Also, something I want to do is to make for the playable character is to be able to move in 8 directions if possible ( with animation. )

There is alot of current talking between us based on theme, setting, resolution & other things currently.

Flappy Dragon 2025. - Unity Project
